Where to Stay

Camping:

The simplest, cheapest and nearest option is to camp at the Lambourne End Centre.
We have a field booking from Thursday 1st August to Sunday 4th August.
Once we have a charging system in place, the cost will be £15 per person, per night.

This centre is not typically a campsite for general use, so we have to be well-behaved in order to use it again.

Hotels:

If you prefer not to rough it, then the nearest budget hotel is the Premier Inn, Romford West:

Despite my begging, they do not offer discounts.
Typical cost for a twin room will be around £270 from Thursday to Monday, so approximately £65 per night.

A touch more expensive and a little further afield is the Holiday Inn Express London - Newbury Park:

This comes to around £85 pounds per night for a double room.
Internet offers might make this a bit more reasonably priced.

If you would like to go cheaper, then three miles away is Premier Inn, London Dagenham:

This is due south down the road from the race site in an area that is best known for building Fords on a grand scale. And nothing else.
Typical cost from Thursday to Monday is around £180 for a double room, so approximately £45 per night. The cost reflects the location.

There are many hotels available in Central London. This was a popular option with the Czech Team on their visit last year, and staying centrally means that family can enjoy the sights of London without having to trek back in from the suburbs. Do bear in mind that transit to the race site will be longer and that parking in Central London might be more of an issue. Hog Hill is on the East side of London, so try not to book a hotel in West London. (Note: The 'West End' is really just the west side of Central London and is not in West London).

The nearest Tube line to Hog Hill is Fairlop station. This is about a mile from the race site. Is is on the Central Line, right-hand-side of the loopy section (Red line).
